Thank you so much to everyone who attended and sponsored our first 2011 luncheon on March 15. It was a hit! Held at Market Street Grill Cottonwood, there were approximately sixty of Utah's elite wedding vendors in attendance. We started with mingling and conversation, followed by a giveaway sponsored by Utah Valley Bride Magazine. We then heard briefly from Women In Weddings co-founders, Melissa Nickle (Blossom Sweet) and Audrey O'Brien (Studio Stems), about the purposes and goals behind the organization. Finally,Tessa Woolf (Salt Lake/Park City Bride & Groom) gave a most-fabulous presentation about the importance of submitting work to local publications and the benefits of doing so. It was a great day for all, with many opportunities for casual networking and fun.
